Lilypad Gil is a character designed for the game design project Lilyveil. 

Here is their character description from the Lilyveil artbook:

Lilypad Gil is our cheerful and adventurous protagonist. Growing up in the small pond-like village of Lilyveil, Gil has always been known as a cheeky but helpful member of the community. As a lively and reliable person, Gil is always doing something. Whether it’s helping someone out or practicing new spells on their magic lute, they always seem to have something to keep them busy!

Three years ago, Gil’s closest companion Eaban set off on a quest for immortality, and never returned. This is what begins Gil’s journey, as they decide to go on a quest to follow in their missing friend’s footsteps. Gil maintains a brave face as they set off into the unknown, yet a creeping fear of mortality follows them wherever they go. Gil’s design is inspried by a green and golden bell frog.

Gil’s green lilypad lute was given to them as a gift from Eaban many many years ago. This magic lute allows them to cast combat spells, and can also be used as a weapon itself! Gil’s strength is attack versatility, with attack spells that can target one or several enemies.
